Welcome go JQT-1 we are a tattoo studio based in Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham. We have 3 tattoo artist all specialising in their style, from colour to black and grey we have the ability to make you the tattoo you desire. We pay attention to the highest hygiene standards in our studio and we use only disposable equipment. Custom tattoos, cover-up’s scar covers all sorts of styles. We are a licensed studio and work very closely with the local environmental health department to ensure we have the highest standards of hygiene.

Could not recommend this studio more. Whenever anyone i know is looking for a tattoo, this is the only place I ever speak of. I’ve had three tattoos by Glen and honestly I just thank my lucky stars that I found someone so talented! The studio itself is really lovely with a relaxed but professional atmosphere, and most importantly is extremely clean and hygienic. If you are looking for a tattoo, you will never regret choosing JQT-1!

Good local pub
With 8 years experience behind him, I plucked up the courage to have my second tattoo this morning. He had the patience of a saint with me and made the time go quick. The attention to detail on my roses (grey and black shading) are second to none and I cannot recommend him enough. Safe to say I won’t be going anywhere else.
Currently on my second tattoo with Adrian and I’ll never go to anyone else now. His black and grey work is impeccable and I trust him completely with designs. Certainly knows his craft. Professional but friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. He’s worth every penny 👌

I have been tattooing for over 17 years. I spent many of those at Birmingham Modern Body art where I grew as an artist. I worked many conventions in the UK and internationally. Mark Gray Tattoos is located in the heart of Birmingham. Custom black and grey and fineline specialist with 14 years experience. Most of my pieces are large scale and bespoke and sittings are usually full days but I occasionally have space for something smaller so it is always worth asking. Currently getting my back done. Absolutely amazing skill and talent gone into the work. Not only that but mark is a great guy that will look after you and make sure you have a brilliant experience.
What an artist and what a genuinely amazing human being! After my very first tattoo, I left wanting to return for more. Mark’s art is beyond what I thought was possible when it comes to body art. His workshop is stunning and just a place where you enjoy spending a few hours. His interpersonal skills are great – I felt completely relaxed and calm throughout 6 hours I spent there. Can’t recommend enough.
Just had my second sitting of my first ever tattoo. Mark came incredibly highly recommended by my brother who has had lots of great work done by Mark. Very safe to say that I am not disappointed in the slightest. Seriously talented artist and really welcoming atmosphere at the studio with Mark, Megan and Charlie. Would recommend Mark to anyone who wants a tattoo of REAL quality.
