I look forward to my lesson every week at Progress Music Academy. If you are a musician or a singer looking to develop your skills, then this is the place for you!
After self-learning a good portion of guitar, Progress is a breath of fresh air! My guitar tutor has really challenged me and it has helped me grow (even in a short space of time), the feedback is also particularly helpful. I highly recommend Progress 🙂
Great lessons, great coaches. I really enjoy my lessons at Progress Music Academy and would recommend it to anyone looking for music lessons in Birmingham.

Kimichi School

111 Yardley Rd, Acocks Green, Birmingham B27 6LL, United Kingdom
What We Offer:

Kimichi school is a new independent secondary school specialising in music, which opened on September 8th 2014. We offer cheaper fees than other independent schools, but the same academic quality you would undoubtedly expect from such institutions.. We love Music. So much so that it is an intrinsic part of everything we do at Kimichi. Everyone learns at least one instrument, and if you’ve never played one before this is the ideal place to learn. Music tuition is a given, and everyone performs regularly with the school ensemble. For those pupils looking to make it a career, we’ve plenty of support available. Local professional musicians are a part of our school community, and we are learning partners with the Birmingham Conservatoire.

REVIEWS

Felt compelled to review after seeing the recent negative comments below. I appreciate everybody has an opinion, but a spiteful rant does not amount to a fair and honest review and certainly doesn’t help readers form a reasonable opinion.

My experience and situation are incredibly similar to the other recent reviewers, and my review absolutely duplicates the common theme amongst many of the latest reviews submitted.

Kimichi is a very special place, we still can’t quite believe we found it. Put simply it has transformed our son’s understanding of what learning is all about.
