Great centre, very clean, well organised and lovely facilities

I was just amazed at the new Northfield swimming baths.
Very helpful staff changing rooms fantastic, safe pool’s all in all a very pleasant visit. I would recommend Northfield swimming baths.

Great selection of kit in the gym area for cadio and weight training. Only been in the learner pool for a splash session with my son but it was good. Changing facilities are kept tidy and clean, helpful / friendly staff.

Based on the Aston University campus, The Sir Doug Ellis Woodcock Sports Centre is home to a fully functional gym, multiple studios and courts alongside Birmingham’s oldest, but most stunning operational swimming pool. Sport Aston also manages the Aston University Recreation Centre in Great Barr, which provides grass pitches for hire and a floodlit all weather pitch. This is set across 48 acres of greenery providing beautiful views in a relaxing environment.

This place if you love swimming is a absolute national treasure. The staff here are all friendly and helpful which makes for a great experience. If you visiting brum or a local go and book for a swim.
Well lit with great equipment options for cardio, weight training with a wide range of classes I will enjoy exploring.
Very impressive, great option for your 16 year olds after A levels.

What We Offer:

Rubery Community and Leisure Centre was originally known as St Oswald’s Camp and was the concept of Edward and George Cadbury. The Camp was opened fully on June 6th 1906 for the sole purpose of providing adult school members with a weekend holiday centre for nature studies and conference facilities. At the Chamberlain Sports Centre, we have a number of leisure and fitness facilities available to hire, including a state-of-the-art sports hall containing 6 badminton courts, 3 basketball courts, 2 volleyball courts and 2 five-a-side indoor pitches. Our gym is also open to the public,

REVIEWS

We have run our Badminton Club, Birmingham Buccaneers here every Tuesday evening from 7-9pm for the last 9 years. The courts have plenty of space round them and well lit.
Nice service received there every time I call to book volleybal court also very friendly and helpful people working there. We have been using this facility few times already and we will be definitely going back there again.
