Cooking has always been my passion, from baking with my Grandma in her kitchen to working in successful restaurants during college and University. After graduating I became an Automotive Engineer – testing prototype vehicles on test tracks all over the world; yet the call of the kitchen was too strong to ignore. After spending 3 weeks in Japan, I’d fallen in love with it all – the attention to detail, respect, passion, dedication to a pursuit and of course the food. Even after months of research prior to the trip it still far exceeded my already high expectations.

Ordered from Kodawari on a visit to Caffeine & Machine, the food was unbelievably flavoursome. The teriyaki beef was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted & bf gave the same review of the fried chicken burger. Already recommended to everyone I know & can’t wait to eat there again

The food was nice, we ordered noodles, and the kids ate sushi. The noodles were broken up which is the only reason we never awarded five stars. However, the taste was still nice and the chillies were hot.

Came here for dinner with my wife, brilliant food and friendly waiter! We had to wait a while but didn’t mind too much as could see he was stressed,

The food was amazing, came quickly and the presentation was very good. I have tried many Katsu curries and it’s fair to say this is the best one by far.

Had a really pleasant meal here. They really focus on food that’s eye catching and tasty.

This restaurant is a gem! Excellent atmosphere, reasonably priced and great welcoming staff. You can tell they are professional and put a lot of effort into their service.

Amazing service from staff! Food presentation, taste and value was amazing and on point. The aesthetic was also very beautiful too. Nothing more could be improved on in my opinion.
