What We Offer:

Penelope’s Dance Studio has been successfully training children to dance in Birmingham for 38 years. A varied programme of Examination classes are available in over seven main subjects catering for boys and girls from 18 months. The schools happy atmosphere is a direct result of the hard working unity from pupils and staff. The complex comprises of a purpose built dance studio 20ft by 40ft with sprung floors mirror and floor barres, changing and refreshment facilities, dance wear shop and costume hire shop.

My Daughter’s been attending Penelope’s Dance Studio since she was 2 years old. It’s an amazing opportunity for her to dance in a fun and engaging environment. From the start she’s loved the classes which are excellently constructed for her age making her experience both exciting and educational.

So delighted with the quality of the lessons our daughter has received at this school of dance. At first she was nervous and unsure but both Miss Penny and Miss Kate were so reassuring that she now joins in with confidence and ease.

An amazing place! My 5 years old loves it! Finally she enjoys the classes and is motivated to do better thanks to the feedback given. Small groups, effective sessions structure, professional and passionate teacher Penelope-I couldn’t ask for more.

What We Offer:

Spotlight Stage School is an independent part-time stage school based in North Solihull. It is the only school in the area where aspiring performers can train in ALL aspects of theatre arts whilst continuing academic studies at their existing school. Spotlight Stage School has been voted the Best Dance School in Birmingham and the Best Theatre School in Birmingham,  We were also crowned Arlene Phillips Best Dance Group winners and the Most Outstanding Group at the Dance World Cup finals in Germany.

My daughter Olivia started spotlight stage school when she was 3 years old and I must say the last 7 years have been amazing. In this time she has had many amazing opportunities such as annual shows, exams, performing in the west end, representing England at the dance World Cup in Germany, competitions and many more.
I have 2 children a girl and a boy that attend spotlight stage school. They both absolutely love it there and have come on so much in confidence since joining. They have both been given fabulous opportunities such as taking part in the annual school show and competing in competitions.

Chloe has been attending for the past 5 years and her confidence has grown considerably. The opportunities the stage school gives her is fantastic. Chloe has so many awards and medals from her dance exams that she is extremely proud of.

Amazing teachers and staff! The courses are very diverse for all ages. Very knowledgeable and friendly teachers. Would very highly recommend!
Amazing Dance Studio! Lovely friendly atmosphere. My daughter loves it and has improved so much in such a short time.
Started pole here a couple weeks back and I love it! Kelly (pole instructor) is super nice, really knows her stuff and is encouraging 🙂 I’m very happy with the progress I’ve made in such a short amount of time! The studio is also doing a really good job during this whole COVID situation.
Super Studio with very dedicated supportive teachers who’s whole aim is to bring out the very best in all the dancers in a wide range of styles, whilst making it enjoyable and challenging.
